Ammie Hill

Ammie Hill became the principal of Legacy Elementary School in 2022.

A native of Fort Worth, Hill attended Southwest High School.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from Texas Wesleyan University and later received a Master of Education from Tarleton State University.

With 17 years of experience in public education, Hill spent the past six in Godley as principal of the 5th and 6th Grade Campus and previously as associate principal and assistant principal at Godley High School.  She previously served as assistant principal at Granbury High School and Crossland Ninth Grade Center.  At the beginning of her career, Hill taught at Wanda R. Smith High School in Keene while also serving as UIL and testing coordinators.

Her husband, Jason, is a Godley coach and teacher.  They have three children:  Jaxon, a seventh grader at Godley Middle School; Maddox, a Legacy fifth grader; Nixan, a Legacy second grader.

Hill and her family attend StoneWater Church.
